This thread is intended to serve as a means to drag one another -- kicking and screaming, if need be -- into the process of improving our writing.
If you have specific questions on how to improve a certain facet of your writing, post here.
If you'd like to suggest some improvements to someone's post, post here.
Please be constructive in your criticism. Please be specific in your questions.
And most of all, be excellent to one another.
Party on, dudes.

I could use this. However, I would prefer such critique to be delivered privately.

I think the first objective of this thread is a good idea, however I have to agree with Con on the second objective, it's probably best for individual criticism to be administered privately.

This isn't a witch hunt. This is meant to be a community effort, to help one another. Someone may very well be having the same difficulties as you, or have some additional insight to add. The option has always been there to privately seek help from each other.

I feel like for this thread to not completely die off, somebody has to step forward and take the first beatings. I'll volunteer here. Talk to me about my writing. What looks lazy? What weird quirks does my writing have that I should work on fixing or fostering? Should I receive an unexpected visit from the angel of death? I would like to know what other people think of my writing.
