Alright, so currently I have 2 things floating around for Roleplays I'm debating between getting involved with.
The first is a reincarnation of an old Roleplay I had, Xeno Troopers, a living incarnation of tropes.
Xeno Troopers follows a faction of elite super soldiers in a "modern day earth", The original founders are somewhat surrounded with mystery as only the oldest veterans have any memory of them and keep tight lipped on them. What is known is that these soldiers are genetically and cyberneticly enhanced to be flat out superior to humanity in every way possible, furthered by access to technology years beyond more advanced. Each soldier is charged with maintaining and upgrading their own equipment, drawing on knowledge stored in databases at the base and using nanite fabricators to produce anything needed. The Xeno troopers themselves are based on the moon itself, the base hidden away by a number of means. The Xeno troopers themselves are unknown to all save a few key individuals on earth, Their job being to deal with any potential alien threats to humanity and keep them sheltered from the rest of the galaxy.
The Actual storyline of it follows a series of quantum rips appearing on earth as another universe effectively collides with our own, through these quantum rips a "mirrior universe" version of the Xeno troopers pours forth, these troopers having established complete control of earth and use it as the most effective standing army in their own universe, everything is standardized for efficiency to some means or another. Said "Mirror Troopers" seek very simply to conquer our own earth, as they have nothing left for themselves in their own world
------
The second idea however, is a fair bit more stupid
During WWII the Nazi's had developed a means to integrate men into war machines through technology and sorcery, effectively placing their own soul into the vehicle. unfortunately with the losses during the war, these machines were never awoken and left rusting away. The Allied however had a project of their own, creating enhanced soldiers through a combination of chemical serums and mechanical augmentation, with the end of the war coming upon though the soldiers were never needed and to hide their own inhuman acts the soldiers were placed into cryosleep. The soviets however, did something completely different compared to the others, they sent men to the stars in search of ally's from beyond our skies. The Soviets were unheard of for years until now (2014)...Where a response returned in force.
Aliens, nearly obsessed by the communist cause, came in massive numbers to embrace earth in its entirety into their communist regime. The aliens release a nanite swarm upon the earth to destroy electronics when the human nations resist their embrace. The earth's magnetic field however messes with the nanites, destroying their friend or foe recognition and forcing the aliens to adopt the ancient warmachines the soviets had told them about. The destruction of electronics however resulted in the modern world itself descending into chaos with each other, resulting in open war between nations and the aliens. Attempting to save the world, the nazi war machines are finally awoken, the allied super soldiers are released from their cryosleep and both are instructed to stop the soviet aliens. Things take a turn for the worse though when the aliens attempt to attack japan, only for the ghosts of fallen japanese soldiers to appear to defend their homeland...
