No, not really, these stories are horrible.

Where do I start here? I don't think I can with this one because jesus christ. Shooting five kittens in cold blood because shooting is accepted as a form of euthanasia in VERY SPECIFIC circumstances? Just... let me quote the nut-shell.
Next we have this crapfest

Like... seriously, holy crap. Officer enters private property during a search for a kid, then shoots the guy's dog because Sgt. Greg Wilking says the officer did, and quote.
Like... seriously. Maybe they should've done what they SAY they're going to do now that they've fucked up and give officers training on how to deal with animals. It has caused unnecessary grief to this man because his dog was shot, and honestly? It sounds like a danger to officers who might have to deal with animals that are actually fucking DANGEROUS.
Just... all I can say is that as these stories keep popping up? I get more and more in favor of massive overhauls over the limits of authority of police forces across the country. I am just in awe that these stories even happened in the first place, so I am going to go be in the angry dome for awhile.

In a nutshell, a woman calls Animal Control because there are five feral kittens living outside her house. The “Humane Officer” shows up, tells her the shelters are full and that the animals will be going to “kitty heaven.” She understands that they need to be euthanized, so she consents. The cop then pulls out his gun and methodically shoots all five kittens dead, in front of the woman, and with her kids right inside the house listening to the carnage.

"I wasn’t in that situation. The officer did what he did in the moment to avoid being bitten, possibly,"
