The RPG is fired at the technical, hitting the rear of the vehicle.
Hans and his squad are spotted on the rooftops by a Chevskian sniper. He radios about it, and takes aim. He sets his sights on a woman who appears to have been injured, aiming for her chest. He fires, the bullet hitting its mark on Petra's upper chest. He was using a 7.62x54mm rifle. If it didn't kill her, it'd do some damage.
The tank would be hard to hit, as it generally kept moving, waiting for a new target. It never stayed in one place for too long for fear of getting hit by artillery.

As the bullet entered Petra, Otto would stumble from the suddenness of the shot. Splattering blood everywhere around, Otto would trip and fall throwing Petra several metres infront of him. The blood would show that the round entered through the back of shoulder at a angle, coming down through the heart and the lung before exiting the torso. She would bleed out within 20 seconds, the rest of the squad dropping for the moment to confirm her death. Once confirmed, they would move on and quickly move to a higher roof and duck behind the cover it provided for the moment, attempting to figure out their next move.

News had finally crawled all the way back to Pustatina over the riots in Madrid, a meeting would be called to discuss it. a quick overview of the situation begins telling those present what NOT to do in regards to attempting to claim a place. There is a quick question over if The Vlk should be told to investigate the situation, however the location quickly renders that a moot question. However it dose raise some interesting questions, specifically "What do we do if things go poorly over there and we have no port available?", "I strongly advise we look at establishing a refueling station in the area", "Would cost to much, likely better to just lay claim to an existing one", "And risk political fallout?", "We'll make it nice and formal, it might not be as bad, worst comes to worst we simply withdraw our demand", "Would such an effort be cheaper then setting up a fuel point?", "Given we could make use of the port for other things, I would imagine so", "I expect we'll see a comparison review of the costs by tomorrow", "Meeting dismissed"

The sniper had radioed in the position of Hans' team, and was doing his best to keep them pinned down.
About 400 revolutionaries led by a Spetsnaz officer, some armed with military grade weapons, try to storm the town center. They throw molotov cocktails and grenades (improvised or real) at government buildings and positions that they can reach.
A message would be broadcast on several common radio frequencies, including civilian. "This is General Petrovich of the Chevskograd State. We did not come here to do any harm, but you have forced our hand. All opposing forces in this city are to surrender immediately, and this will end here. If you do not comply... it won't be very good for you." The transmission comes through in Russian, English, and various other languages, on repeat.

Hans would nod at Christian to setup the squad's radio here and turn it on to begin transmitting. Hans would shout into it on the channel Wilhelm and Bismarck are using. They would be on a hill outside of the city, a good 100 metres up. "We're pinned down by sniper fire, you're 500 metres out of the city. Can you get a read on anything? We're at 20N, 30W, Northwest Sector. Over." Wilhelm would track his scope to these coordinates. Once locating them he would say. "I see you. Over." Hans would say. "Do you see who is pinning us down? Over." Wilhelm would reply after a moment and say. "Yes, we see one sniper. Shall we fire? Over." Hans would reply with one word and say. "Ja."
The shot would be silenced and be aimed well over the enemy sniper. It would be the size of a .308 round and fire would open up from both snipers, not to kill but to suppress sniper fire to allow Hans a chance to move. A kill-shot would be nice but would be accidental if it happened.

The technical exploded into a fireball, killing it's entire crew of three.
January 23rd, 2532 Monday, 11:26
The first shot was fired from the new mortar position, slightly ahead of where the crew thought the tank would move. A squad sent to capture a rebel held building is forced to retreat after suffering heavy losses. Seven men were killed, and two more injured. They hope to regroup with another squad.

The mortar hits ahead of the tank, far enough away that it did no damage. The tank keeps moving, faster now that they know the mortar is out there.
The Chevskian sniper retreats into cover, waiting for back up. It was already there, in the form of a squad of Chevskian soldiers heading up the stairs of the building Hans' squad was in. They were ordered to shoot to disable, not to kill, unless they had no other choice.
Chevskograd soldiers now begin to set up their own mortars, on top of buildings or in wide open areas.

Hans's squad would take the opportunity and move, climbing down onto the next building. They would move between cover quickly and effectively, staying moving targets in order to keep from being shot down. They would climb back up onto another roof-top. They would have carried the radio with them instead of putting it back into their equipment packs and it would be set down once they took up a better defensive position. Hans would radio in and say. "Keep suppressive fire up with one rifle, shoot to kill. Assist with other rifle. Over." Wilhelm would nod to himself and say. "Ja, herr."

The Iseians remained in the perimeter the Warsovians set up. By now the engineers had set up a mortar in a parking lot within the perimeter. They were surrounded by some cars and sandbags. The mortar was giving fire support to Madrid forces in the government plaza. The other Iseian troops were simply trying to repel Chevskian and revolutionary attacks.

Hans's squad would crouch behind the brick, popping up to open fire every time the Chevkians reloaded or halted their fire. Their shots would be quick and deliberate, not expending more than 3-4 rounds per burst. They Chevkian squad would also begin to get sniper fire rained down on them at a distance that would both mute the sound and make the flash incredibly hard to spot. A tally would be taken on how many men are in the squad after the first kill was made. He would be struck in the head with a rifle round on the side of his skull.
The town center would be a killing-field and would be heavily fortified. The road leading in would be filled with machinegun emplacements and soldiers dug in. Only 288 of them would remain, but most would be regulars of the Madridian army. It would be a hard location to take, but with proper combined-arms tactics, could be taken.

Not counting the one who was shot, there were six members of the Chevskian squad.
At the town square, revolutionary forces stay behind cover as the roar of an engine is heard. A stolen armored car, with communist symbols spray-painted on the sides, comes flying down the street at top speed, heading straight for the parliament building. In addition to its normal armor, steel plates had been bolted on in places to provide extra protection; most notably, on the back. A revolutionary holds onto the back doors, firing at Madridian soldiers wildly. It was loaded with explosives.
A couple of mortars have been set up by the Chevskians. One starts bombarding Iseian positions, the other starts to hit the Warsovan front line.

Suppressed automatic small-arms fire would continue to be deliberate and slow coming at the Chevskian squad, aimed at torso level to go for disabling wounds to cause casualties.
The armoured vehicle would receive heavy small-arms fire and machine-gun fire. The machine-guns would dent the armour and some would go straight through, but for the most part it would remain unaffected. Fire would be directed at the windows and wheels to try to incapacitate the driver or the crew or disable the vehicle itself. However this wouldn't work as well, and even though the front wheels were blown open by gunfire and the vehicle swerved heavily, it would crash into parliament.

Warsovian mortars returned counter-battery fire, trying to take out the Chevskian mortars before they themselves were destroyed. The infantry and engineering squads begin moving from building to building towards the tank, deciding to take it out with the anti-armor missile launcher as mortars wouldn't be able to reliably hit the top of the tank.
Warsovian Special Forces had set up in the top floor of a building, and hoped to hit Chevskians with sniper fire.

The Iseian mortars also started counter battery fire. Iseian special forces started setting up in buildings. They hoped to pick off mortar teams with sniper rifle. Many of the Iseians were in buildings so not all of the mortar rounds actually hit troops. They just put holes in roofs. Four men are killed however, and another six are wounded.

The truck explodes, packed with military grade explosives and improvised bombs, as well as several drums of gasoline. It would not only blow a large section of the parliament up, but it would probably set it on fire.
The tank was well behind the front lines, almost a kilometer from the battle. Its position was guarded heavily, so it would be difficult for the Warsovians to reach it.
One of the Chevskian squad members is hit, but only wounded. Another pulls the pin on a grenade and throws it at Hans and his team, while another one fires blindly out of cover hoping to hit one of them.
Chevskian snipers, who were already well set up, start picking off Iseians on the roof from hundreds of meters to a kilometer away. The weapons used vary from 7.62mm shorter range rifles, to long range .50 cals.
70 Chevskians had died in the course of the battle so far.

The grenade would be picked up by Hans, who it landed near, and thrown down into the street. It would detonate half way down and injure a machinegunner. Hans would throw a flashbang out, cooking it for two seconds before throwing it at the Chevskian troops. It would go off and blind everyone but Hans's squad as they turned away in cover and closed their eyes to shield themselves. They would take the few seconds of disorientation and blindness that the Chevskians would suffer to turn tail and run, changing directions to move to the outer parts of the city.
The detonation would decapitate the government and, more important, Madrid's command structure. Squad commanders on the field would be all that were left with all qualified officers being killed or incapacitated. Within minutes, white flags of surrender would begin to go up as Madrid's forces slowly surrendered to Chevskian control

Chevskian forces move further into the city in parts defended only by Madrid's army. They ask Madrid to tell the Iseians and Warsovans to stand down. Revolutionaries all over the city cheer at the news, but before they flood into the town center they wait for more Madridian forces to surrender.

Hans's squad would move quickly, eventually getting back to the suburbs and climbing back down to street level along the abandoned roads. They would rest in an alley way as the high density buildings spread out more and setup their radio. "Any news? Over." Otto would say as Wilhelm would sigh and say. "Yeah, you got out in time. City fell, forces in the town center have pretty much surrendered. Its gonna be stormed by the revolutionaries and their allies within minutes I'd say. How the hell did you even start that, anyways? Over." Otto would lean back against the wall and say back. "Well, we may or may not have killed 8 Chevskian soldiers. Over."
Wilhelm would shake his head and say. "Alright, just get out of there. They're still looking for you. Over." Hans would pipe up and say. "Good to know, thanks for the news. Wilco." Hans would pack the radio back up as they got moving. After several minutes, they would reach the city outskirts and continue moving. Getting back up to regroup with Wilhelm and Bismarck, they would load back into their vehicle and travel over land back to Neu Freital.

The Iseian snipers hadn't set up on roof tops to begin with. They were intelligent enough not to silhouette themselves. They also hadn't been staying in one spot. They moved after every 1-2 shots. They changed their priorities to enemy snipers after troops reported sniper fire. The Iseian troops used roof tops rarely because of the danger. They posted their machine gunners on stairwells to counter enemy troops who were storming buildings. However, six Iseians were killed by sniper fire. About twenty-five Iseians were killed so far. There were some critically injured and walking wounded. The wounded were sent back to the harbour to go on the ships. A radio message was sent back to Iseia to tell them the news.
By now the Iseians were starting a fighting retreat. They fell back in teams while the rest covered them. Then the roles would reverse. They moved from cover to cover, making sure buildings were between them and the enemy wherever possible. Covering units would set up in buildings briefly. Machine gunners were always the ones covering stairs or entrances. The North-East section the Warsovians and Iseians were in was largely cleared of revolutionaries. Well, atleast the ones that were shooting. The threat was from outside attacks. Regardless, the Iseians retreated, not wanting to get flanked. Their perimeter was slowly shrinking inwards to the harbour.

Warsovian ships had left Neuvo Madrid, and were sailing back to Warszawa. Radio contact is established with Warszawa, telling of the bad news. With the communist capture of Madrid, the government of Republika Warszawa knows it has to do something in response. An envoy is sent to one of the nearby small towns, to talk about a possible federation to stand against communist expansion.

The troops in the town center having surrendered, hoards of revolutionaries rushed in. They reached the parliament, what was left of it, and brought the Nuevo Madrid flag down. In its place, they hoisted the flag of Chevskograd.
Chevskian troops, seeing that the Iseians were retreating, stopped firing at them, waiting for them to leave. They didn't want to lose any more soldiers, now that the city was theirs.
