Admiral Resmali accepted the Corrudians' offer to outfit with their damaged battleship with a makeshift FTL drive, using the combined spare parts from the entire Federation Fleet they were able to come up with a warp drive to strap onto the battleship, though it did take a few weeks before it was ready to go. During that time the Federation Troops were instructed to aid in the recovery effort of the Corrudian's home planet in whatever way they could, but when the battleship was ready to return to Federation space the troops were recalled to the fleet via corvette and shuttle before the entire IFFS fleet left the Horra system, speeding back to IFFS territory.

The Arthan fleet would leave about a day after the Coalition's meeting, the battleship being towed to the star by the freighters the Arthans had brought with them before the frigates latched onto the damaged vessel and entered the slipstream, speeding back to Tronjal where a shipyard was waiting to receive the battleship. The rest of the fleet would leave once the ground forces and equipment had been loaded up and the wounded had been stabilized, Admiral Tori did bid farewell to the Corrudians and the Tal'Ryth before leaving while completely ignoring the Ra'Noth. With Horra now liberated the Arthan's territory needed their ships far more than the Corrudian's home system.

Horra.
With all the various foreign troops and leaders having departed the planet's surface, and making their preparations to leave, it was time for Marshal Shazirath and Commandant Verta to go on a little exodus of their own. They would secure transit on board the Marshal's command cruiser, which would depart alone for Astrakhan to secure the Emperor and the Diet, and return them home. Fleet forces would remain on alert for any unexpected variables while they were gone. At any rate it was time to truly weld the Imperial state back together.

Senator Poluck put the stack of files on the table next to the briefcase, "They are for this meeting," he said, "I have others for another meeting after this, but that's not important now." picking up the first file he handed it to Telnaris, "This first item is a non-aggression agreement," he said, "since we our borders seem to be rather close, and hostility is hardly what I could call a productive venture, especially with most of the cluster already at war with the Zealots." taking his own seat he added, "I doubt it'll cause any trouble, it's merely a mutual agreement by our governments to avoid any hostile action towards eachother."

"So to make use of this Drive Technology we need these beacons first?" Galvas asked, turning the page on Armelia's report, "Yes," Armelia replied, "there are systems that we can jump to without a beacon, naturally occurring jump points, but they're not that common." Galvas nodded, "Admiral Resmali won't be too happy about that when he gets back," he said with a slight chuckle, "won't have that much of a tactical advantage if the usage is so limited." Armelia forced a smile, "Yes, but with all due respect, Chancellor, that's not the point," Galvas cocked his head slightly, "from what some of the Ith scientists have told me, the gate technology they used with their warp drives tripled their top speed. If the jump drive has the same level of an increase from a gate, we're talking speeds anywhere from 15 to 20 parsecs a day, enough to traverse the entirety of the Federation in a single day."

"Any resistance from Regrinor's ground forces?" Uhanis asked, Admiral Yondur shook his head, "Very little, it seems Chancellor Hillia became a bit deranged at the end," he said, "started killing off the officers who questioned her." Uhanis blinked his central eye, "No wonder they became so disorganized in that last battle," he said, "continue with the occupation, if things keep going smoothly we should be able to pull this power transition off without any more death." Uhanis picked up a briefcase, "You'd better head back to command," he said, "I have to meet with King Toran in half an hour." Yondur grimaced, "I think I'd rather go through the war again than that." he said, turning to go, Uhanis clicked his beak in amusement, "Well, it has to be done."

They proceeded to the jump gate and passed through, following the dreadnought that had been towed into it several days earlier. BATTLEZONE (GHERIAK)8 days and 7 hours after leaving Horra, but still a day or so before Task Force 1 reached the Mera-Verion Gatelink, Bandit Echo and its tugs appeared in Battlezone. They dragged the battleship towards the dreadnought, before braking so that it would have zero relative velocity several kilometers out. DREADNOUGHT MEKVARIS, BATTLEZONE (GHERIAK)The person who had replaced Senior Executive Na'Ryll as liason to the ancient AI was one Representative Nava'Tyr In'Wal, who promptly left his quarters as soon as he heard of the battleship's arrival. It was important, in his mind, to be punctual. As he made his way to the control centre, he had an aide brief him. Some information he knew, some he did not. Once the aide finished, he dismissed them, and entered the command centre alone. Nava'Tyr approached the camera, and as he did, made an announcement. "Mekvaris. We have brought an example of the enemy's technology for your perusal." He then waited for the AI's response. MantasACHOLAfter the impromptu memorial service, Lee'Ra realised he was very hungry. There had been no opportunity to eat during the battle, which had gone on for hours, and there had been much to take care of afterwards. But not his XO was handling things, and there was nothing calling for the Space Commander's attention. Hopefully nothing else of serious import would occur in the time it would take the constructors to finish their projects, and Nightmare could return to Industry having succeeded in its mission. That Night-Terror wouldn't come home with it was a tradgedy, but life had to go on. The Commander headed for the cafeteria, and aeveral of the off-duty crew followed him.

"A few, actually," Zolin answered. "I was quite the athlete in my youth. Of course my joints didn't agree, and I've been paying for it ever since." Zolin gazed at his wrists, imagining the machines that were now carried through his bloodstream, replicating, a part of him until, he assumed, death. "Huh. I suppose these nanites will fix anything?" There went the knee and shoulder surgeries. "Really, surgeries aren't that bad. Surgeons, like a lot of jobs, have moved from the operating room to whatever proxy that's been developed. In this case, I've been operated on by remote-controlled robotic arm suites; I don't believe I've had a surgeon manually operate on me."
Ikatl, for the most part, was totally lost. Was he being shown Xioatl's personal history, before he was killed in revenge for some slight a Midyan centuries ago had made? Ikatl realized that he was taking for granted the claim that Xioatl had indeed lived for those centuries; but how else would the imagery be so accurate? As far as he could tell, these were real memories. Memories of a several hundred year old Midyan, who had apparently been living in an alien civilization. Memories of a mutant, who had some bizarre telekinetic power. It was a lot to ask to believe, and Ikatl realized that his crew would most likely not believe, outside of a similar experience.

More ships. A problem none of the boarders had anticipated. The barbarians had proved they had no qualms about firing on their own. A rock and a hard place. The interior of the frigate was most likely safer than the exterior, so there was little to no reason not to board. Business continued as usual. "Weak, here," reported one of the boarders over the radio channel. His comrades moved to his position. "Charges here, here, here. Easy to access, I hope," he continued. A few of the marines had been equipped with shaped charges in place of a heavier weapons armament. The charges were fixed around the edge of the docking port, the marines scrambled away, and the charges detonated. If it all went to plan, the docking port's doors would be blown into shrapnel that showered the inside of the ship.

-Lakaer's Office- Lakaer just smirked as Skrattle just glared, he was about to give off another remark as an alert beeping started on his desk. Lakaer gave a sigh before pulling it up, it was a quick message from Arkedeer, delayed by a few hours rather obviously "Sir? The Horra fleet is identified as returning, Estimate they'll be home in less then a week." That was well enough information for him, Lakaer said "Well then, with the fleet on it's way back...perhaps I will still have reasons to keep you around. If only because more captains will be needed for our planned buildup." Skrattle just perked his head slightly "Buildup?" Lakaer rolled his eyes before saying "Yes, you've been out of the loop so far that we are more or less at war with a rather substantial force, I believe you were clued in before getting here that these...Zealots...had caused damage to us, But outside of that there is currently an expedition underway to potentially learn information on their homeland." -Que- >Construction 2x Ta'Malr Farseer Platforms (111/175) 1x Ta'Malr Farseer Platform (57/175) 55x Black Sky Pattern Mining Outpost (32/45) 12x Tek'Harl Platforms (26/50) >Shipyards 30x Mak'Vara IV (33/51) [15 standard shipyards, 15 battleship shipyards] >Research Gen IV Railguns (7/45) Riftrider (12/80)

==Orchak== "I would have no problem signing this agreement. Everything we've discovered about your government over the past few decades has shown us that we might have similar ideals. I could see a closer relationship being established in the future, as well." Telnaris said taking the file and reading over it. Signing anything, especially alien agreements, was something to be taken seriously - even if the IAR seemed like a friendly and ideologically agreeable neighbor. ==UN-866== -Hospital- "Well it depends on what you mean by 'fix everything'. You're likely to not get sick for a few decades - that'll be a sign that they're breaking down faster than they're replicating. Cancers and disease will be taken care of by the nanites, along with massively accelerating the repair done by the breakdown of muscles from exercise. Your joints will also be restored as well - better than any surgery either a Midyan or Malsuth doctor could provide. Really they're quite the miracle treatment - you'll also likely live another hundred years beyond any other Midyan." The nurse sent out to translate the documents prior came back and handed a packet of papers to the nurse. Paging through them, he couldn't read them but that was a good thing. After a moment had passed since the interruption, he continued. "But traumatic injuries are a different story. Internal bleeding can be a mixed bag - tends to be treated by nanites decently, but depletes them from them being stuck outside the bloodstream. Have to get another dosage or they wear off quicker as one could say. Gunshots, disembowelment, losing a limb or anything truly traumatic like that? They'll prolong your life for a bit longer than without. You're still going to need emergency treatment by a professional - otherwise I wouldn't have had a profession during my time in the Army." He handed the packet of documents to Zolin and turned around to a small cabinet behind him underneath a computer and pulled out a small amount of gauze and tape. Pulling out the IV, he quickly pressed and taped the gauze to Zolin's arm. "Nanites should have it healed up in a minute or so, but it'll be tender for a bit. All that's left is to stop by the front desk - might be a minute there as translation equipment is rolled out - but they'll get you signed out. Ignore anything about payment - we already have it in the system to forward it to Xioatl. Though your clothes are down under the bed." He left the room with a "Have a nice day!" before proceeding onto other duties after removing his translation equipment, leaving Zolin to stay or leave as he pleased. -Xioatl's Mind- Everything after that passed by rather quickly as Ikatl and Xioatl watched the young Xioatl. His memory of the evening following, however, was rather boring - a quaint family dinner with Xioatl's parents, his 4 siblings, three sisters and a brother, and a fearful Xioatl. When his mother asked him why he looked so down, he simply replied that he wasn't feeling well. Xioatl took a deep breath as he watched his old family eat. "I still miss them. Mother, father, my sisters, my brother. I heard nearly everything they thought last night. I barely had control over myself. The clergy made it look so easy. Maybe it's because I was a mutant. I don't know how other Midyans react to their abilities. I just know it was hard for me." Everything after began to blur out and move faster, not as important to Xioatl, not as life-defining. Almost put on fast forward as the next morning rolled around. Xioatl had led Ikatl into the large one-room hut that his family had once shared. They watched in silence as a young Xioatl woke before even the first beams of light pushed their way through the window and made his way to the village temple. They followed him as he walked up the stone steps and pressed on the door to enter the temple. Standing there was the old village priest, Ixiozin, with his back turned the door, lighting candles for morning prayers. The young Xioatl caught his attention with a simple "Ixiozin." The old Midyan turned and his face lit up. "Xioatl! It's still quite early and it isn't time for services. You should be in bed. What brings you by?" The fearful Xioatl had trouble finding his words before speaking in a timid tone. "I have... abilities father. I can do what you can do with the talking and listening between minds." His breathing grew ragged as he continued. "But I think there is... evil inside of me. I... I moved my hammer by gesturing at it, father! By gesturing!" Xioatl stood next to Ikatl, his eyes closed and his hands drawn up to his mouth as he breathed slightly heavier than he normally would. It was obviously a painful memory for him - one that he avoided reliving, and only did to prove his point. -Queue- (Ship Construction: Shevek-Class Heavy Fabricator: 13/18x60; Heral-Class Heavy Destroyer: 9/25x5; Toilsen-Class Point Defense Destroyer: 9/25x30) (Ship Construction Queue: Hosel-Class Light Carrier: 1/25x15; Salep-Class Light Cruiser: 1/35x25; Salar-Class Heavy Cruiser: 1/35x15; Hallo-Class Heavy Carrier: 1/35x11; Ishra-Class Point Defense Cruiser: 1/35x20; Imvek-Class Josel Shell Fabricator: 1/5x35)

"Thank you," said Zolin, hardly before the nurse had left. The information relating to the nanites now inside of him was useful; though he didn't plan on getting shot at any time soon. He wondered what kind of conflict the nurse had been in that required field surgery and medics. The Malsuth seemed like they were at relative peace, but Zolin knew he had only seen a small portion of their civilization. The comment about extended lifespan didn't help at all either; whatever fighting had happened could have been hundreds of years ago. The most recent conflict the Celestial Republic had been in, outside of the Achol situation, was a string of drawn out, late system colonial era wars that the Ehuacalati Empire had waged to bring Itil under full control before adopting the title Celestial Empire. It had happened long before he was born, but his great grandfather had participated.
The scenes of village life were somewhat familiar, similar to scenes of a generalized feudal age in Midyan history. It was clear that it was happening in a region Ikatl was not all that familiar with, however. Foods he did not immediately recognize, but that could be historical; the styles of the buildings were atypical, most likely specific to a certain culture; the skin tones of the Midyans he saw were unusual for the Ehuacalat dominated histories and scenes he was familiar with, but not totally rare. The one detail that stood out the most in Ikatl's mind was the strange use of "father" in reference to a priest. Modern convention was to refer to them by their title, tlatoni, and that convention extended through the historical documentaries and dramas Ikatl had seen. What was strange about Xioatl's language, behavior, and religion could be explained as living in a faraway region. However, whatever came next would clash with the idyllic historical picture that had been painted. Xioatl's body language could be no clearer.

-Lakaer's Office- Skrattle just took a slight breath "Would it be possible for me to join an expidition into their territory?" Lakaer just grumbled before saying "No, currently what you will do, is head down to intelligence to get brought up to speed. If it weren't for our current situation I'd have you on charges for dereliction of duty, but I'm going to at least give you enough rope to hang yourself on fleet duty. Assuming you don't screw up I'll see to bringing you back to whatever field duty you were suppose to be doing. Now get out of here" With that Skrattle turned and left the office, giving little more then a parting glance as he did so. Lakaer just reclined himself somewhat as he began to pull up his agenda to see what was next, muttering a little "Hmm. Astrakhan Orbit.
Some time in the future, the Marshal's command cruiser arrives in orbit of Astrakhan. They were welcomed to various communiques of praise and wonder as to where the rest of the fleet was. Any concerns were easily allayed when the news of victory was confirmed. The Marshal would spend no time in arranging everything necessary to get the Emperor, his family and the Diet nobility done with business on Astrakhan and on their way back to Horra. There were some loose ends, like tracking down everyone of importance who had scattered to take refuge with the locals, but this was easily manageable. Soon they would have everyone they needed.

==UN-866== -UN-866- The hospital around Zolin's room was calm - he was the first real excitement that the hospital had seen in weeks. It took a huge amount of discipline for hospital workers to keep from crowding around the Midyan priest, eager to get a glimpse at the first Midyan in Malsuth space other than Xioatl. It wouldn't be hard for him to notice the eager glances given by hospital staff, taking detours simply to walk by his room and see the alien. -Xioatl's Mind- The old priest put his hand on Xioatl's shoulder to comfort him. "Now, now boy. Calm down. Anything that taints you can be dealt with - the Gods have a solution for everything, do they not?" He led the young Xioatl closer to a table near the back of the main room of the temple. On it sat a small copper candelabra that Ixiozin had lit only minutes before. "You know the story of the Champion Huetoxal, right Xioatl?" The young Xioatl nodded as Xioatl said to Ikatl. "Huetoxal was a champion of Chioaxatil, our god. He defended his followers from persecution from heathens who had no god. Legends said that he could deflect the blows of swords and rains of arrows with just the wave of a hand and destroy armies of heretics with the mildest of focus." "This could be an omen, my boy. You never know when Chioaxatil will need a champion - would that be evil?" The young Xioatl shook his head no. "Of course not!" Blowing out and removing the candles, Ixiozin gestured to the candelabra. "Now do what you did with your hammer." The young Xioatl nodded and lifted it up and moved it a few inches, taking all of his concentration and willpower to do so. Ixiozin's face lit up for a moment before the young Xioatl lost control. All of the telekinetic focus was driven into the priest who flew into the stone wall at the back of the temple, blood spraying everywhere. The young Xioatl was horrified and rushed to aid the broken priest while Xioatl himself closed his eyes and grit his teeth. Just as Xioatl rushed over, however, a temple assistant had come back. Seeing the young Xioatl knelt and bent over at the body of Ixiozin was all he needed, running out of the temple screaming "Murder! Murder! Xioatl has murdered Tlatoix Ixiozin!" while the young Xioatl was paralyzed in fear. -Queue- (Ship Construction: Shevek-Class Heavy Fabricator: 14/18x60; Heral-Class Heavy Destroyer: 10/25x5; Toilsen-Class Point Defense Destroyer: 10/25x30) (Ship Construction Queue: Hosel-Class Light Carrier: 1/25x15; Salep-Class Light Cruiser: 1/35x25; Salar-Class Heavy Cruiser: 1/35x15; Hallo-Class Heavy Carrier: 1/35x11; Ishra-Class Point Defense Cruiser: 1/35x20; Imvek-Class Josel Shell Fabricator: 1/5x35)

"Well," Galvas said, "that would certainly make the transportation of resources and civilians far cheaper." Armelia nodded enthusiastically, "I've already instructed my team to begin looking into merging the jump drive technology with the gate tech." she said, "I didn't think you'd mind." Galvas shook his head, "Of course not, but you also said this is a prototype, so let's try and perfect the drive as well." he said with a slight smile, "This jump drive seems almost too good to be true, so let's not give it any chances to prove us wrong."

The Frigate's docking port doors would blast apart with a fiery but short lived burst as the atmosphere from the inner compartment vented in a matter of seconds, the rest of the ship, however, was unaffected as the docking port and other likely areas of entry had been sealed off from the rest of the ship to prevent decompression. Even as the fire died and the Saji began approaching the opening, a small swarm of fighters from the carrier began baring down on their position, looking to use their smaller weapons fire to pick off some of the boarders. At the same time, several of the frigates moved towards the ship's second docking port, the crew on board was going to need reinforcements, and they had brought plenty.
"Excellent," the Senator said, already selecting another file from the pile in front of him, "if you have any questions please, don't hesitate." as Telnaris read through the non-aggression agreement the Senator began, essentially perusing the files, waiting for the Malsuth to finish his inspection of the agreement.

-Ikara- Once the Malzis' riftskipper had finished cool down they would give a parting alert before entering FTL and giving off the tall tale wake as they began heading back. -Ka'Sorin Forces- The delay for the disruption caused by the arrival of wreckage was short lived, the fleet slowly ushered to the gates to begin the final trip back to kushar. Activating on schedule the gates would in turn send the ships back along the line towards Kushar, the trip itself, bar the layovers required by timing of the gates, would be roughly 35 hours and 16 minutes. The Large colonizer vessels would be remaining at Arkedeer to offload the troops back home again, troops who made it rather evident to the Ra-noth authorities they fully intended to keep a hold of the vast stockpile of explosives that had been turned over for usage, mostly for 'training exercises' as many of the officers argued. -Que- >Construction 2x Ta'Malr Farseer Platforms (113/175) 1x Ta'Malr Farseer Platform (59/175) 55x Black Sky Pattern Mining Outpost (34/45) 12x Tek'Harl Platforms (28/50) >Shipyards 30x Mak'Vara IV (35/51) [15 standard shipyards, 15 battleship shipyards] >Research Gen IV Railguns (9/45) Riftrider (14/80)
