The two battlehovercraft slammed the shield again and again with field coilguns that could sink seagoing ships. A couple of KKVs from orbit joined in before the shield collapsed and the army surged forward. Zealots fell from their perches at broken windows and balconies as they were swiftly taken out. Tal'Ryth troops were hit, but their comrades swarmed around them and kept moving forwards, leaving the injured safely behind their lines for medics to help. Main battle tanks swept their coaxial machineguns across large concentrations of enemy forces, scything them down. When LAN forces met up with other coalition ground forces, they worked together to sweep the palace. Their main defence gone, the holdout Khaersites were quickly annihilated, and it was safe for the Lunar Guards to stand their proud flag over the ruins of the once beautiful palace gardens. Turalanaray was liberated. Horra was safe. MantasINDUSTRYDevelopment of universal powered armour completes, the technology now available for for combat suits, assault suits that can weather heavier weapons fire, and far more versatile heavy lift suits for logistics that could potentially replace the forklift. Creation of all these things and more is handed off to the engineers to work on, while the scientists move to their next project. HKZ-008 RELENTLESS, ÆO AURU"Target breaking off" stated the sensors officer, clearly relieved. But Spaceglider Commander Cara'Fal wasn't going to breathe easy himself, as they were still in significant danger. "Navigation, Weapons, keep the target lit up for another minute, then switch to the other cruiser." He didn't want the first cruiser to just rejoin the fight as soon as it had been given the chance to cool down a little. They had hurt it, badly - the steam venting from its hull in numerous places was testament to that - but it could still pose a threat, even if only by distracting them from its less damaged sister. Better to force them to keep running now than have them interfering once they were well into kinetics range. Cara'Fal's thoughts had occupied him through that minute, and he now felt his vessel swing around to change targets, and his tactical repeater confirmed they were opening fire again. Relentless shivered as another gauss round slammed into the armour.

"Admiral, we just received word from the Corrudians, they want us to meet them and the other coalition leaders at their palace, probably to discuss what to do with the captured vessels and other resources." Admiral Resmali nodded, standing up from his chair, "Send them confirmation," he said, "and prepare a shuttle with a guard contingent, just in case any of those Zealots might be hiding down there."
A few minutes later a single shuttle would detach from one of the Federation Cruisers and descend towards the planet and the designated coordinates, two Corvettes would join it before it reached the atmosphere, no sense in needlessly risking the Admiral's life.

Admiral Tori would send a confirmation message to the Corrudians saying that she would join them on the planet, after a few moments two of the Arthan shuttles would disengage from the Flagship Battlecruiser, powering up its engines and beginning its descent towards the planet. The main idea behind two shuttles was in case one was targeted by an AA missile that had been missed during the attack.

Horra.
With the Liberation a resounding success it was unlikely the vanquished invader could possibly pull such a dastardly trick with some SAM battery. It certainly wasn't an immediate threat at any rate. As for more pressing matters, the two Imperial commanders decided on an interim plan for the Emperor's habitation when he finally returned, a bit of humorous jest conjured up when troopers pulled the charred remains of the throne out. Their plan was to erect a small prefabricated dwelling atop the ruins, slap a sign on it and be done with it. At the very least, it would give the men something to do after their hard-fought battles and relief efforts. This would free up the Guards Commandant and the Marshal to be ready to greet the inbound Coalition personnel.
R&D.
The Imperial R&D corps on Astrakhan succeeds in its nanoscale processor research, breaching the nanometer with the use of so-called tunnel effects. The practical value of this comes in the further miniaturization of command-grade computation systems, and it is also believed to pave the way for more exotic devices and systems. It is likely further funding will be allocated to this end.

Instead, the lander frigate Inspiration made its descend and touched down in a cleared area near the palace, where a civilian representative disembarked. She had prior experience talking with foreigners, so since she was present with the task force, she was considered the optimal person to show up. Of course, that the military wouldn't be leading the negotiations did not mean that they wouldn't have an adviser present. Someone high enough to have authority, but not so high that the fleet would be disorganised should the Zealots return with another fleet, or if a battle broke out over the prizes captured. As such, a shuttle soon followed its own path to the palace, carrying Space Commodore Cai'Ral. She had caught Space Marshal Na'Zao's notice back at the planning conference, which explained why she had been chosen specifically. When they had met each other, the pair walked into the palace. The lack of security or small doors made this far easier than the last time the LAN had formally visited the home of Imperial government. MantasINDUSTRYResearch into personal power armour stalls before it begins, as serious concerns are raised about the stability of Gen II fusion reactors when scaled down to man portable size. With the alternative being to develop more powerful fission reactors - not a particularly enthusing idea given most of the Mantas' technology runs on fusion power, making that a very low value investment - it is decided to develop fusion technology into its third generation. This should benefit all future spacecraft, as well as enable the use of power armour that lasts longer than a couple of hours in combat. RISERIA space station is completed.

Horra.
The Leaguers wouldn't have much difficulty in getting into the palace when it was in such shambles. Some of the exterior, an internal wall poking here or there, but mostly just piles upon piles of smashed bricks. As for security the inbound League representatives would be screened by Guards personnel on duty but they would easily pass muster as long as they didn't suddenly turn rogue and attack everything in sight. Presuming they didn't they would be the first Coalition representatives to grace the sight of the Marshal and Guards Commandant.
Cordial greetings would await them.

The command and siege cruisers for this batch of production was at last completed. These units could now be appropriately organized into their respective carrier task forces. With the overlay handled the next round of production could commence.

-Ka'Sorin Forces- Hasrak would be sitting on board one of the Hosom's dropships as it departed, making full haste towards the intended gathering point. Once they hit atmosphere the dropship would begin rattling something fierce, a problem culminating from the relatively high speed of approach, and the rough aerodynamics of a brick. Breaking through the re-entry burn engines would flare harshly, with the dropship coming in towards what most pilots would most likely consider a ballistic arc rather then a landing trajectory. The four heavy engines of the dropship would only finally begin firing on final approach, to which it became apparent why the pilot was attempting to minimize engine usage, the four engines were nuclear and even though they had shifted to a closed cycle state the exhaust still had some radioactive residue from the open cycle state. The burn given was only enough for the dropship to finally land near what was determined an open landing site, with a rather notable 'THOOM', it was readily obvious their landing site suffered more damage then the dropship itself.

To the ground troops, the Ra-noth shuttle was mistaken for some sort of ballistic projectile. A detachment of the troopers was immediately on the move to investigate. To the Marshal and Commandant, and anyone else around, surely the distant thud was enough to shake them up a bit as well. The men would be ready to escort the "payload" to the meeting.

"Interesting. You've piqued my interest...Let's compare some notes then: I have monitored light traffic flying to-and-fro under valid identifications in either way across this border of late. This was followed by large numbers of signatures being escorted beyond my line by imperial navy IFF signatures. All of these signatures were utilizing a drive system that was abandoned in its prototyping stage due to safety hazards, unreliability, and overall instability compared to other methods. None of these ships match my database, including the ones that had a navy IFF...but those were still oddly relatable to some designs in use during the Ten-Year War a hundred years ago. The Terran activity that I was aware of for crossing this border was exclusively in escort of these craft." the AI replies before the sensor dampening weakens and adds "As for the jamming, that's my onboard suite. It isn't the source of damage to the probes, that'd be a craft that had parked somewhere about three light years from here. There are more along the border zone as well."

"I don't have any information I can contribute to this endeavor due to corruption, sadly. I can imagine that exploring will be a fair bit easier now than before though." replies Mekvaris, taking a pause before saying "Aside from this digression...I imagine your superiors want you to head out soon?"

The response from the [Far Star Ones] was again quick. "LACKING TIME FOR [[CLOSED/SEALED] EARS]. [UNDERSTAND/INTERPRET] AS LACKING CONJUNCTION-OF-INTERESTS." It seemed as if the Corrundian unitrans software had finally met its match with whatever quirks the strange alien language contained. Manual analysis of the messages sent by the aliens revealed a few patterns. They were all text messages, coupled with metadata that seemed to relate to color. Upon further examination, the monitors used by the Corrundians had trouble displaying some of the contained colors. When translation was attempted, the software picked out the characters, but not the color.

Uncharted System.
The communications staff might be getting taxed to their limits with this one, but they had to keep digging further and putting whatever components they could get together. It was now definitively clear this was more than a language of ordinary words, presuming it wasn't already. If this conversation was to continue in any way it would be necessary to correlate the color with some sort of meaning, and determine what the "invalid" colors were. Assuming the EM spectrum was a universal concept there might be infrared or ultraviolets being used here or even beyond that. If the ship's AGI could derive wavelengths from those invalid colors, maybe they could start to piece this mess together, running color bands against the text to fill gaps and verify potential meanings. Assuming, of course, they had enough time to do this. There was also the ongoing battle to continue monitoring, as distant as it was.

->Taskforce Uo'u<-
The bow section of the [Justicar] had been laid to waste. The first 40 meters of the ship partially caved inward, twisted and warped by the immense heat. Steam streaked behind the ship as the last of the hydro in the punctured compartments bled off into the vacuum. 4 of her 6 turrets continued to fire. Turret Boleyn was a softly incandescent tomb for her crews. Turret Aragon received the same treatment in addition to having had its barbette cut from beneath it; she dangled impotently from her harness. A track of scarring ran across the right flank of the ship, traced by the beam as it screamed across her surface. As the starboard facing heated up to unnerving temperatures, the order was given to hard burn RCS to show the dorsal facing and spread the heat around, but the maneuver had not spared the wounded beast further scarring.
Eoheo delegated damage control to lesser officers and kept stock of the tactical situation, trying to ignore the numerous warning lights on the tactical display. He steeled himself against the voices of hundreds of good crewmen who were dying in agony. Even the water temperature on the battle bridge had risen enough to be noticeable and that concerned him deeply. Then the temperature gauges stopped rising. They were no longer under direct gaze of the Eye of God. "Oiouhouru, [Justicar]. Relief captain Eoheo speaking. Damage critical, nonlethal, stop. Under fire no longer, stop. Be advised: enemy weapon damages with extended exposure. Stay nimble, over."
"Received." Constant RCS burns are going to make gunnery difficult, Captain Ii'a worried as she gave the order to keep the ship tossing and turning through its flight to spread the heat of the enemy weapon. She had witnessed the damage sustained by the [Justicar] when the beam was allowed to drill against a single location and was of no mind for her ship to experience the same. The sacrifice in accuracy was small price to pay to increase survivability. Range: 1,500km and closing

Cai'Ral called for some of the Groundforce troops to come and help clear rubble away, since this would make a good meeting area. The Space Commodore herself set about the task as well, because she didn't feel comfortable with having other people do her dirty work for her. As she picked up a hefty piece of masonry, she spoke to the representative. "I'm Cai'Ral," she introduced herself, "And you?" "Ara'Kow" she replied. "Sorry I can't help, but one of the ideals people look for in a consul is cleanliness and a respectable appearance." Cai'Ral let out a small snort of amusement, and let the rock down just outside a wide hole in the wall that might once have been a bay window. It was too shot up to tell at this point. MantasHKZ-008 RELENTLESS, ÆO AURUA stream of swearwords flew through Cara'Fal's mind as an undamaged enemy cruiser closed to 1,500KM. Far too close. His vessel was jinking as wildly as it could and still retain a target lock. The Hunter-Killer's engine configuration afforded it the capability to more than match any evasion the cruiser took, but the AI assisted flight controls were not clairvoyant. They needed to time see what it was doing and compensate, meaning that while the laser was rapidly increasing the focus of its damage, it kept slipping off and wasn't doing any damage half the time. Only the SCAR system and the numerous redundant systems were keeping Relentless from being snowed under by the volume of kinetic fire being thrown its way. Suddenly, the command centre was in chaos. Shards of metal blew across from one wall to the other. The air went foggy, the damage control panel went red and something hit the Commander and knocked him out. He felt like he was unconscious for an eternity, but then he snapped back to consciousness. He took inventory of his surroundings. Whatever had smacked him in the head was gone, and so was the fog. Cara'Fal realised he couldn't breathe. Fifteen seconds. He grabbed at his helmet. Ten seconds. He slammed it over his head. Five seconds. Twisting the helmet locked it in place, and he slapped the control on his suit's wrist. Air returned to his lungs. The Space Commander looked around. The weapons officer was sitting in their chair... but the chair had a huge hole through the side, and so did the weapons officer. The navigator hadn't gotten their helmet on in time, as it looked snagged on an antler. He realised that the damage control repeater was still a mix of red, orange, yellow and green - the console he'd been looking at had just been splashed with the unfortunate damage control officer's blood. He looked behind him and saw a body on the ceiling, and he realised that must have been what hit him. He saw the astrogation officer was dazed, but alive, and he yelled at them through his suit comm: "ASTROGATION! GET NAVIGATION'S HELMET ON NOW!" Checking the tactical repeater, he saw that Relentless was drifting off course and the beam was well clear of the target. There was no time to order anyone else to do it - he hit the overrides and brought the spacecraft's nose - and its weapon - around himself.

The two IFFS corvettes would land just before the shuttle itself, their engines powering down as the wind due their arrival blew throughout the city square near the palace where they had landed. The shuttle doors opened with a small hiss as several soldiers filed out from the corvettes, Admiral Resmali stepped out, saluting the waiting Federation Colonel who approached from the edge of the city square. "Well," he said glancing around at the City, parts of which were visibly damaged, "we'd better not keep them waiting." as they walked away from the corvettes and the shuttle the Arthan shuttle passed overhead, settling down in a section far closer to the palace. After a few moments Admiral Tori's procession would begin making their way to the palace, an Arthan squadron meeting up with them.

Horra.
The two commanding officers observed the Leaguers hauling off chunks of debris. Being so big had its benefits for something like that, they noted. It would seem they had at least a few more minutes before they were approached in some way... maybe they've been mistaken for troops. More people seemed to be coming, so maybe not. The men made sure their uniforms weren't too dirty themselves before proceeding.

-Ka'Sorin Forces- Kasik was by no means amused as the rear hatch of the dropship dropped open, especially not to be greeted by armed troops as it was. He merely said "I presume your simply an escort" as he disembarked, taking a deep breath of the air, then two more, it wasn't quite the air pressure he was used to but there was still something to not breathing recycled air. He streched his wings wide for a few moments before folding them again and began to head off towards where the meeting point was, with of course any direction provided by the troops. The troops in turn would also see a pair of ra-noth step off the shuttle for seeming guard duty of it, sporting exosuits that had a light autocannon mounted to the back. -Nalsim- Irsarn just tilted his head slightly trying to think or at least that was the plan, the AI onboard the Nalsim seemed to finally come out of it's processing lock to announce on the bridge "I have determined the local planetary body is a megastructu- Oh, I appear to be having processor lag" Irsarn grumbled as he pressed a button to mute the Nalsim's AI, then speaking up to continue talking "The most I can say is to do something about the probes not reaching you, is there some way you can just establish a long range connection to the Argus facility? And why exactly are you maintaining this jamming effect anyway? Is there still some sort of threat ongoing that requires maintaining the effect?" -Que- >Construction 2x Ta'Malr Farseer Platforms (93/175) 1x Ta'Malr Farseer Platform (39/175) 55x Black Sky Pattern Mining Outpost (15/45) 12x Tek'Harl Platforms (8/50) >Shipyards 30x Mak'Vara IV (15/51) [15 standard shipyards, 15 battleship shipyards] >Research Torpedo Design (34/45) Powered Armor units (24/30)

The troops handling the Ra-noth were quick on the uptake. Having confirmed the dropship was not some sort of ballistic missile they were ready to get the cargo moving.

-Kushar- Once Lakaer and Sikas finished their tour of the Lorsis, it would begin preparations to get underway taking roughly a days time to do so. The rest of the task group would be taking similar preparations, making the group just 11 ships strong, 6 Rak'Kisk, 4 Sak'Kisk, and the Lorsis itself. Once preparations were complete the force would begin the trip towards the previously identified star, Kri-Tar, their own drive wake would be overshadowed every eight hours by the deafening wake of the riftskipper gateways. Orders in turn were simple, get in, smash things, and leave. -Que- >Construction 2x Ta'Malr Farseer Platforms (94/175) 1x Ta'Malr Farseer Platform (40/175) 55x Black Sky Pattern Mining Outpost (16/45) 12x Tek'Harl Platforms (9/50) >Shipyards 30x Mak'Vara IV (16/51) [15 standard shipyards, 15 battleship shipyards] >Research Torpedo Design (35/45) Powered Armor units (25/30)

As it stood it seemed everyone was going off and getting distracted by their own minor little things around the palace grounds. The troops delivered the Ra-noth to the Marshal and Guards Commandant, who had set up temporary seating arrangements somewhere flat and not full of debris. They would be free to begin discussing business while the troops headed off to round up each and every one of the other leaders who were attending arbitration. Soon enough, presuming no resistance on the part of any guests the discussion could begin in earnest.

Admiral Resmali and his escort would arrive at the remains of the palace shortly after the Ra'Noth, most of the Federation soldiers would remain on the perimeter though two guards would remain with the Admiral at all times. The Arthans reached the palace a few minutes after the IFFS delegation arrived, seeing the Ra'Noth were already there Admiral Tori's mandibles would click in irritation. She and her guards would immediately move to the opposite side of the palace grounds from the Ra'Noth delegation, though the soldiers would keep their gaze fixed on the Ra'Noth, clutching their weapons at their sides.

-Ka'Sorin Forces- Kasik would, despite the seating arrangement made, simply finding a relatively steady platform rather obviously made of debries, to settle down on. Taking advantage of both the collapsed parts of the roof and the resulting sunlight, he would spread his wings wide before settling them down, which he attempted to make obvious was simply to take advantage of the environment, even if it would seem somewhat disrespectful. As the Arthans came though Kasik would just watch them, seeing the way they acted before calmly saying "I'd advise keeping your weapons secure, An...Accident...would look very poorly to my officers in orbit, and I'm rather sure you don't want to spark more fighting." A small translator unit on his person making sure to relay what was said using the Arthan dialect, even if it was a little slower then his own speech in this case. -Que- >Construction 2x Ta'Malr Farseer Platforms (95/175) 1x Ta'Malr Farseer Platform (41/175) 55x Black Sky Pattern Mining Outpost (17/45) 12x Tek'Harl Platforms (10/50) >Shipyards 30x Mak'Vara IV (17/51) [15 standard shipyards, 15 battleship shipyards] >Research Torpedo Design (36/45) Powered Armor units (26/30)

Horra.
So far it seemed everyone was preparing for the worst, and the Arthan and Ra-noth's postures towards one another seemed to suggest there was a lot of ice to break between forces of the Coalition, even if they could cooperate to achieve a common goal. Troopers were on standby in the event this somehow broke down completely, but it was better to think optimistically. The Marshal and Guards Commandant had taken seats at the head of a long folding table, with the Emperor's charred and empty throne nearby. Marshal Shazirath would address the inbound guests after their little scuffle of words.
"Finest greetings to you all, my comrades in arms. Let us try and keep this as professional as possible while the men gather the remaining officials. Please, come sit with us, and do not be afraid to ask the Guards if you need refreshments; I am sure we have something that may interest you in that regard. Once everyone is accounted for we will cut to the chase."

Admiral Tori muttered something unintelligibly under her breath before turning her back on Kasik, she would, however tell her guards to relax, a scene here wasn't desirable. The Arthan guards relaxed their grips on their weapons, though they still kept a watchful eye on the Ra'Noth. The Arthans would take their seats as far away from the Ra'Noth as possible, Admiral Tori completely refused to even glance in Kasik's direction.

-Ka'Sorin Forces- Kasik just took a smug smirk, one which rather gleefully displayed his teeth. He hadn't come with guards as would be quickly relevant, and unless his uniform concealed some weapon appeared to be unarmed; however, it was easy to tell there was a slight unnatural glint to his foremost claws. Kasik turned his attention to the emperor as he relaxed again, saying "I feel I must ask, as to begin thinking on it, what all are is hoped to be covered in this meeting? As I do wish it to be known before hand that Ka'Sorin command will be limited in any ability to commit to long-term agreements, due to the distances involved of course." -Que- >Construction 2x Ta'Malr Farseer Platforms (96/175) 1x Ta'Malr Farseer Platform (42/175) 55x Black Sky Pattern Mining Outpost (18/45) 12x Tek'Harl Platforms (11/50) >Shipyards 30x Mak'Vara IV (18/51) [15 standard shipyards, 15 battleship shipyards] >Research Torpedo Design (37/45) Powered Armor units (27/30)

Horra.
The Emperor was not on his charred husk of a throne nor anywhere on the planet for that matter, so it was quite hard for him to answer Kasik's inquiry. Instead Marshal Shazirath would answer that question.
"The primary purpose of this gathering is simple; the effective arbitration of the vessels seized by various Coalition troops following an assessment of their viability to be restored to service... this time against the invaders rather than for them. Some of my officers in orbit will be conducting the inspections and showing us in real time."
Meanwhile some Guards troops would be busy getting the League's representation to the meeting.
